Shadows hide unforeseen dangers, taunting the spirit and mind to fear what would seem harmless at first glance. Every creature has its breaking point, but when that creature weighs at least one thousand pounds more than its rider, the combination of anxiety, unfounded or not, and strength is lethal to any in the way. Muscles tense with worry place each step with added care. Every smell of the world, every touch of the wind, every vibrating clop of hooves against rock and trodden soil draws the rider closer and closer to the eye of the storm. Tranquility remains only as still as the flowing waters of the river to the sea. |

John 3:16 16For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
